Reference: My 78 year-old mother and I took a photo safari with Uhuru Safaris in June 2004. Looking back, we still can't believe how much we did in just six days. Our guides (and now good friends) Johan and Irene provided so much information about South Africa's history, culture, and of course, all the animals. My mom and I were curious about everything, and Johan and Irene were always able to answer all our questions. Since we've returned home, we spoken with so many people who took photo safaris in South Africa. They didn't see half the animals or learn half as much about the country as we did. We would highly recommend taking any of the photo safari packages with Uhuru Safaris. In fact, I'm returning in August 2006 with friends and relatives for new experiences with Johan and Irene. If you'd like to hear more about my experiences with Uhuru Safaris, you can contact me in Lancaster, NY, at (716) 656-1792. Karen Famiglietti 7 Day Photographic Trip
